“Cheddar”
Oh our Cheesy girl. So many wonderful things to say about this girl! Cheddar was born an “old soul” and is our resident snuggle bug extraordinaire. Born on June 29th 2015 from our Presto X Frankie breeding, the “Photo Litter” Cheddar is a sensitive soul, and grieves if she even thinks she has done something naughty! (Which, by the way is never!) Even though showing was never quite her thing, as she would much prefer snuggling, she still managed to finish her Championship in one weekend taking three back to back to back 5 point majors. She then went on to do the very same attaining her Grand Championship in short order.
Sterling & TrueStar’s Keep Your Eye on the Pies “Libby”
Libby girl came to join our family in November of 2020; hence her “Pie” themed name! Libby’s dam was a singleton puppy we bred from our Samson X Kenzie litter that went on to live with our dear friends Rose & Jim Scaggs in Alaska. Lydia attained her GCH, as well as all of her clearances so was bred to Blu. I flew out to evaluate the litter, and came home with Libby! She is a compact sweet little lady with personality galore. So very gentle and easy going. Our 12 year old daughter experienced her first dog show, showing Libby! Three blue ribbons were garnered that weekend as Libby was a perfect Angel, per usual!
TrueStar’s Apple Spice Cake
“Apple”
This precious little lady is just as sweet as they come! Apple is from our Fudge X Ember breeding, the “Cake” litter; born on July 12th 2020. Apple is co-owned with our dear friends, Travis & Nicole, where she is truly the “Apple of their eye!” Apple is “Classically Golden” and has such a sweet eager to please attitude. She goes on regular fishing trips with her dad, but also loves snuggling at home and is such a true joy to all who meet her!
TrueStar’s Holly Berry
“Holly”
Holly is the most perfect blend of her mama Cheddar, and her daddy Theo! She is mellow, inquisitive, and snuggly sweet, yet athletic and driven. Holly was born on December 7, 2021 and is from our Christmas litter of Theo X Cheddar. She has a beautiful headpiece, correct coat, jet black pigment, and soft gentle expression. We are excited to see what the future holds for this young beauty!
Summit’s The Cream Rises to the Top at TrueStar
“Brûlée”
Our happy happy, Brûlée! Brûlée came to us from Wisconsin, from the Merit X Leche breeding; bred by Beth Johnson. Born on July 15th, 2020; Her grandma is the ever lovely “Chloe” who has the most All-Breed Best In Show wins of ANY female Golden Retriever in the breed’s history. Brûlée is so very smart, and loves to learn. She loves to fetch and retrieve, and is never far from my side around the house. We are excited for this pretty girl’s show career to begin in 2023!

“Skittles”
Skittles was born on November 21, 2016 from our Timber X Frankie breeding; the “Candy Litter.” Skittles is co owned with our friends David & Kaydi, and so lives with them full time now! Skittles is a smaller, compact girl, and as mellow as they come. Her youngest human sister is just two years old, and Skittles, in classic Golden style is as gentle as gentle can be with her. Skittles movement is a force to be reckoned with…she simply floats, just like her mama Frankie, and grandpa Lincoln!

“Izzy”
Izzy has been a special addition here at TrueStar! Born on July 9th, 2022; Izzy was Co-Bred by myself & Michelle Stavich in CO who owns Izzy’s dam, Nadia. Izzy has an incredibly sweet, soft, eager to please, bouncy personality- she is SO fun! I see so much of her mama Nadia (and in turn, her grandpa Samson!) in her. TrueStar’s Flour Child
“Esme”
Sweet sweet Esme! Esme is the image of her mother Cheddar in more ways than I can count. She is the snuggliest of snugglies, so gentle and easy going and has been from the moment her little personality began to show as a puppy. Esme is from the “Bread” litter of Theo X Cheddar, born on January 3rd, 2021 and is co- owned with our very dear family friends, the Brower family. We adore Essie girl to bits, and are excited for her future role as a mama! We just know she will pass all of her wonderful qualities onto her puppies.
